Class rooms are not just physical spaces but an arena of stimulation and facilitation for learning. The spacious comfortable and well ventilated classrooms, along with smart technology make learning a joyful journey.

The smart technology is leveraged to enhance critical thinking and the teacher is more a facilitator encouraging students to explore. The student centric classroom environment focuses on the students’ needs, and learning styles making learning enriching.

Auditorium/Seminar Hall

The auditorium at SB School and College of Nursing is a hub of activity. Seminars, guest lectures, presentations, co –curricular activities are held here on a regular basis. Equipped with audio-visual facilities this college auditorium has the capacity to accommodate the entire nursing students and faculty strength.

Learning at the classroom is augmented by the time spent in the library. Nursing is an area of study that requires reference collection, and research on the part of the student. We at SB School and College of Nursing know the significance and impact of access to the latest developments in the field of science.

The library is well stocked with reference books and has over 3000 books by publishers across the world. Latest journals and editions have been subscribed to update the students of the recent developments in the bio sciences field. Online publications and books are also accessible to the students. The online library has enabled students to know the developments in the health care sector.

Without hands on training it becomes difficult to assimilate and process knowledge gained in the classroom. The laboratories at SB School and College of Nursing are well equipped with each department having separate laboratories.

The labs are equipped with mannequins, simulators, CPR mannequins, specimen, articles needed for demonstrations that are utilized for student practice and demonstrations.

Each laboratory is focused on providing the necessary hands on practice for students with beds, IV arms, neonatal incubator, mannequins, instruments used in maternity practice, charts, models, CPR dummies.

Computer lab

It is important that students who need to be away from home have comfortable surroundings to live in. The quality of the living quarters has a bearing on the involvement in learning of students. Keeping this in mind, hostel facilities are provided.

There are separate hostels for boy and girls. The rooms are spacious, well lit and ventilated, clean and hygienic. The hostels are conveniently located near the basic requirements like medical shops, ATM, stores & hospitals

As the students are from various regional backgrounds, a special effort is made to cater to the students’ food requirements. Saturdays cuisine from one part is served to cater to the students crave for home food and exposes the others to various cuisines of the country.

Security

We have round the clock security facilities in our college. No student is permitted to leave college hours during class hours without permission of Principal.

Cafeteria

Students are given tea break at 11am. We provide tea and snacks to all students for free. On special occasions varieties of dishes are prepared and served.

Transport

We have transport facilities to commute students to college, to hostel, clinical areas, observation visits etc.

Clinical facilities

Clinical training is vital to become a true professional. SB School and College of Nursing has tied up with major private hospitals for training. In addition students have access to government hospitals to get a one on one training and learning experience.

Our dedicated and expert staff also imparts and supervises clinical presentation, bedside clinic and incidental teaching to enhance students learning.
